Terms of Service

Next Steps is provided by Our Savior’s Church Family of Ministries (“Our Savior’s Church”, “we”) for the people of our congregation and the volunteers who walk alongside them. Using it means agreeing to what follows.

What this is

A tool for discipleship follow-up: you complete an assessment, receive suggested next steps, and are paired with a volunteer Connector. It is not counselling, medical care, or emergency help. If you are in crisis, call 988 or 911 rather than writing here — messages in this application are not monitored around the clock.

Your account

• Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done from your account.
• Give us accurate contact details, so the person walking with you can actually reach you.
• Tell us if you think somebody else has access to your account.

Messages and texts

Notifications by email are part of using the application. Text messages from Our Savior’s Church Family of Ministries are optional and are only sent to people who have opted in themselves, either on the Next Steps assessment form or in their own account settings.

• What you will receive: notifications about your next steps, the volunteer paired with you, and follow-up from your campus.
• Message frequency varies with activity on your account.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or switch them off in your account.
• Reply HELP for help, or email operations@oscfamily.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How to behave here

Write to others as you would want to be written to. We may remove access for anyone who uses this application to harass, threaten, or deceive somebody.

Volunteers and staff

Connectors and staff see personal information about the people they are caring for. That information stays inside this application and inside the church. It is not to be copied, shared, or used for anything other than caring for that person.

What we do not promise

We run this application carefully but cannot guarantee it is always available or free of faults. It is provided as it is. Our responsibility is limited to what the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we change something that matters, we will say so in the application rather than quietly replacing this page.
