Our Savior's Church · Next Steps
Last updated 3 October 2026
Our Savior’s Church Family of Ministries sends text messages through Next Steps, our discipleship follow-up application. This page explains who gets them, what they say, and how to stop them.
These are operational notifications. We never send marketing or solicitation by text.
Nobody is texted unless they have asked to be. There are two ways to ask, and both are optional — neither is required to complete the assessment or to receive anything from the church.
The wording shown beside the checkbox, and stored with each person’s consent along with the date and where it was given, is:
“I agree to receive text messages from Our Savior’s Church about Next Steps at the mobile number on my account. Message frequency varies with activity on my account. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. See the Privacy Policy at nextsteps.oscfamily.com/privacy and Terms at nextsteps.oscfamily.com/terms.”
Administrators can switch texting off on somebody’s behalf. They cannot switch it on — agreeing is something only the person can do.
